Custom Corrugated Potato Chip Display Rack for Lays

When talking about snacks, I guess you might immediately think of a bag of potato chips. They’re crunchy and absolutely delicious. Plus, it’s very easy to eat a whole bag of chips at once, and you’ll feel good about it after you eat out a bag potato chips. Today we’re going to introduce one of our customers, the most famous potato chips brand—Lay’s. We designed a very attractive potato chip display rack for them.

Lay’s – famous potato chips brand

Lay’s, as one of the most famous potato chips brand around the world, is an American potato chip brand that was founded in 1932 and has been one product of PepsiCo since 1965. We can see Lay’s chips almost in every retail stores or supermarkets. The Lay’s brand has different names in different countries. For example, it is called Walkers in the UK and Ireland, Chipsy in Egypt, Poca in Vietnam and Tapuchips in Israel.

In 1938, Elmer Doolin from Sainte Tonio and Herman W.Lay from Nashville, the two young men who had been in the potato processing industry for many years, decided to come together, therefore the Lay’s Potato Chips brand was born.

One of our customers from UK, who works in Lay’s, first contacted us about creating displays for their Sunbites crisps, we knew we had to come up with a design which can perfectly display their awesome products. Most importantly, we should to make them easy to grab and  not easy to fall down as their products are light. Last but not least, the display should be easy-assembled.

We designed a cardboard display that allowed the chips bags to stand on each shelf, which can display their products maximize using all the available space. Besides, we added an design on each shelf panel to avoid the chips bags fall down from the shelf.

Such design corrugated potato chips display rack are very easy to assemble, when they open the display parcel, they only need about 30 seconds to assemble without any instruction, but we will put assembly instruction into each carton as well.

Finally, it was very important that their brand is the central focus of the display design, with the Lay’s logo(on the top header, shelf panels and both sides) clearly displayed to shoppers, which can create impulse sales for their Sunbites crisps and increase products sales amount.
